Ballagh
David advises on the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious Property and Corporate Commercial transactions. He acts for commercial and private purchasers, vendors and lenders in the areas of property with a particular interest in technology transactions and landlord and tenant matters. He also advises on all aspects on contract law and has considerable experience in funding contracts in the area of health services. He has spent some time seconded to large corporate clients since qualifying providing valuable advice on all aspects of their ongoing commercial development. He has also studied accountancy and belongs to the fifth generation of lawyers in his family.
Damien
Carley
Damien established Carley & Co solicitors in 1995, thereby starting a journey. Damien works mostly in conveyancing and there are few if any transactions that he has not been involved in. Damien has an almost forensic memory for many things except faces. If you have a conveyancing query or a general concern, Damien will be happy to help. He has years of experience and a wise head.
John
Connellan
John works almost exclusively in litigation, except for Dental and Medical sales and acquisitions. He has worked on cases from the District Court to the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal. John leads a litigation team of 3 solicitors. Their work is split between employment, family law and insurance defence work with some limited Plaintiff personal injury work.
Agatha
Taylor
Agatha Taylor, started her career in Bell Branigan O’Donnell and O’Brien Solicitors.
Agatha qualified in 1998 and has extensive experience in litigation including advising corporate and semi-state and private clients on commercial disputes, insurers and private clients in personal injuries and medical negligence claims and insurance law, employment law (including unfair dismissal), insolvency and debt recovery. Agatha represents a large insurer and Drinks Company in the defence of personal injury claims.
Agatha is experienced in all matters of Probate Law including wills, administration of estates and probate related litigation including Section 117 claims and undue influence.
She has lectured on the workings of the Commercial Court on the Law Society Diploma in Commercial Litigation and to practitioners for The Dublin Bar and Solicitors Association. Agatha has provided in-house talks to clients on bullying and harassment claims at work and personal injuries law.
Jennifer
Murphy
Jennifer was admitted to the roll of solicitors in 2009 having completed her training with Carley and Connellan LLP and has over 17 years experience with the firm in both litigation and conveyancing. Jennifer has a Diploma in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland and regularly appears before the Workplace Relations Commission and High Court on employment matters. She has also advised and acted in many family law matters including complex high court divorce matters.
Jennifer deals with all aspects of probate and estate administration including contentious and multijurisdictional estates and wills.
Jennifer also advises on Licensing Law and can provide advices on all licensing application types.
Susanna
Lane
Susanna qualified as a solicitor in Ireland 2001 and as an attorney in California in 2004. She is an experienced litigator having practiced exclusively in litigation since she qualified. Susanna has worked in all areas of litigation –Plaintiff and Defence personal injury, medical negligence, professional negligence, contentious employment law, commercial disputes and defamation law. Susanna’s practice focuses on the defence of accident at work claims with some Plaintiff personal injury work.
