Property
David and Damien both work within property in acquisitions, sales and Landlord and Tenant matters.
Damiens’ main focus is in respect of residential conveyancing. There is no transaction too big or too small. They are all important. Whether Damien is helping a first time buyer get onto the first rung of the property ladder or whether he is selling your family home, the transaction will be planned and you’ll be kept informed throughout. Damien is approachable and patient and will explain the process throughout.
David advises on the full spectrum of contentious and non-contentious Property and the Corporate Commercial. He acts for commercial and private purchasers, vendors and lenders in the areas of property with a particular interest in technology transactions and landlord and tenant matters.
Litigation
/Court
Litigation of all types is a large part of what we do, whether that is Employment law, Family Law, Insurance litigation, commercial contract disputes, debt recovery or Personal Injury.
We act for employees and employers alike. We act in both contentious and non-contentious/advisory employment law. We routinely appear at the WRC and Labour Court and have acted in the Circuit Court in Equality Claims and High Court.
It is important to get the correct advice as soon as possible in an employment matter as the time limits are quite short, usually within 6 months of an event occurring.
Family
Law
Family Law is stressful. It is personal and at times turbulent. We have acted for divorcing couples for in excess of 20 years. We have undertaken some of the most complex custody and access cases in recent years.
Our lawyers have lectured on specific aspects of the Family Law acts in particular in respect of specialist Court reporters (known as section 47 or section 32 reports).
If you are considering separating or have recently separated please get advice as soon as possible. We work with some of the leading forensic accountants and we will work with you to get the best outcome.
Commercial
Advisory
We act for many small to medium enterprises throughout Ireland. We act for many family businesses and have done for generations.
Our advisory work covers corporate structuring and restructuring, employment advice and contractual matters including supplier management.
Dental
/Medical
We are the foremost advisors to dentists in Ireland in terms of sale and purchase of dental practices. We routinely complete about 14-20 dental sales per annum. We are the trusted advisors to dentists throughout Ireland and would routinely lecture 2-3 times per year for the Irish Dental Association.
We have bought or sold about 170 practices to date.
We act alongside the main dental brokers in Ireland and have an extensive knowledge of the dental industry.
Medical
We advise General Practitioners and Specialists in terms of their practice structures to ensure the most tax efficient models are used.
We advise on partnerships and how best to develop succession planning and continuity. We work alongside your accountants to ensure that your practice is run as optimally as possible.
